HI!

I’m Dr. Courtney Livaudais,

OTD, OTR/L, IBCLC

Being a parent is hard work— but getting the care you and your baby both need shouldn’t be. I believe healthcare should be convenient and accessible, so that you can spend your precious time focused on the important things in life. Unfortunately, most current healthcare models within the United States treat the parent and baby as two separate beings without consideration for the powerful dynamic that exists between this dyad. By recognizing the unique relationship between you and your child, my approach helps you to heal, grow, and thrive together.

Triple Moon Occupational Therapy & Lactation offers holistic care in the comfort and convenience of your own home— no juggling schedules, finding childcare, or loading the kids up in the car to rush between appointments, because motherhood is busy as it is.

I hold a doctorate degree in occupational therapy and am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have spent my career serving families with children from birth through toddlerhood, focusing on developmental areas of gross and fine motor skills, feeding, sensory regulation, self-care, sleep, social-emotional development, and age-appropriate play skills. I also support families through the challenges of breast/chest and bottle feeding, including tongue ties/tethered oral tissues, supply concerns, and pumping. I aim to help you nourish your baby in a way that best suits you and your family.

When I became a mother, I found maternal care—particularly postpartum care— within the current U.S. health system to be extremely lacking. Breastfeeding was difficult, I developed new aches and pains, and most significantly— I felt my identity shift in a powerful way. I found it challenging to find providers that could address each of these things together. My goal is to support you through the challenges of this transition by bridging the gap between perinatal and pediatric care.

The Triple Moon symbol represents empowerment and wisdom throughout the three significant stages in a woman’s life: birth, life, and rebirth. Similarly, motherhood is a transformative experience that draws on our prior life experiences to continuously shape and reshape us. Through our time together, my hope is that you will feel empowered, confident, and secure in your physical and emotional well-being, your identity as a parent, and in your child’s health and development.

MY APPROACH

Your child deserves exceptional care—and you do, too. Research demonstrates that treating birthing parent and baby, together, results in more effective health outcomes. Using evidence-based strategies, we will address concerns you have for your child’s development, as well as your own mental and physical health. You are the expert on your child; my role is to empower you to support your baby’s needs with confidence.

  • Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Do you have concerns for your child’s development? Are they having trouble meeting milestones, or have skipped some milestones altogether? Lets work together to address your concerns and help your infant or toddler obtain developmentally-appropriate skills. I serve children from birth through 24 months.

  • Prenatal + Postpartum Care
